We loved this place. We have lived in Spalding for 6 years and have been meaning to go. So glad we did. Beautiful museum and gardens. The cafe is a family run cafe. The food is delicious 😋, especially the breakfasts. Katie made our museum tour really interesting and she took time out to explain the history to us. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her job.

It’s a café in a park. Sitting outside was pleasant on a sunny day, and the food was a lovely surprise. I get tired of café menus that are all bread and baked potatoes - this place was different, and better! There were several salad options, and a Buddha bowl too. I chose the chicken, crispy bacon, avocado and asparagus salad and it was truly delicious. The bacon was properly crispy, there was plenty of chicken, and the whole thing was well presented and well dressed too - salad dressings are another thing that cafés often get wrong, but not this one. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Lovely discovery of this venue! A cold rainy day, but we sat inside & enjoyed a great meal. Staff were very friendly & service was good. Nice museum in the main house too - lots of interactive displays & interesting.

The bread was perfectly baked, with a nice crust and soft interior, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Each bite was a delicious combination of savory and aromatic ingredients. However, I must note a minor drawback: the latte I ordered didn't have a strong coffee flavor; it was quite light. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a satisfying lunch option. Also, it's dog friendly.

Normally I ask for a pot of tea and a cake, but today I ordered a salad with smoked salmon, potatoes and some crunchy green leaves.....it was delicious! I left an empty plate ;) The place evolved over the years, evolved for good! Keep it that way please.
